Welcome To Performance Gymnastics Academy
We are new to your community but certainly not new to the sport of gymnastics. Our staff has decades of gymnastics experience as coaches, judges and as competitive gymnasts. All of our staff are safety certified, background checked, members of the United States Gymnastics Association (USAG). We are dedicated to helping each student achieve their potential, have a successful experience and have fun!
Our mission is to build happy, healthy, responsible kids through the discipline of gymnastics training and performance. We strive to provide the ultimate learning experience in the sport of gymnastics for children of all ages in a safe, positive environment.
Congratulations To Our 2014 Class Meet Champions:
Gymnastics is part of our human nature. A gymnastics club provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids of all ages can develop the skills they need to achieve their potential. Want to help your child get the hang of a healthy, happy life?
Boys and girls ages 1-5 will enjoy our Tumble Bug Preschool Gymnastics Program. Designed specifically for the needs and abilities of young children, they will love exploring and discovering gymnastics movement.
For children ages 5 and up, the USAG Junior Olympic Program is the basis of our Girls Junior Olympic Gymnastics training program. Gymnastics is taught through skill progressions from elementary to advanced. In order to advance safely in the sport of gymnastics, students must have a solid foundation of basic skills. The USAG Junior Olympic Program has been developed by brilliant coaches over many years to safely increase gymnastic skills.
Level 1: Most students start at Level 1. Level 1 classes are the most important classes in which to develop proper habits and our coaches are hands-on fixing body positions and techniques.
Levels 2, 3 & 4: As students progress from Level 1 to Levels 2 then 3 & 4, they progressively build upon the foundation of strength, flexibility and skills established at Level 1. Our coaches continue to keep a close eye on technique and body shape as their skill level advances. We always keep our students moving by utilizing circuit training and multiple pieces of apparatus.
